- Emergency Scene Management: Safe scene assessment, taking control, and activating Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Correct hands-on chest compressions and rescue breathing techniques for adults, children, and infants.
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED): Safe operation and placement of AED pads to treat sudden cardiac arrest.
- Choking & Airway Management: Executing abdominal thrusts (Heimlich maneuver) and managing airway obstructions.
- Bleeding & Wound Care: Severe trauma management, applying direct pressure, dressing application, and tourniquet usage.
- Medical Emergencies: Identifying and responding to heart attacks, strokes, seizures, asthma attacks, allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), and diabetic crises.
- Injury Management: Proper handling of fractures, sprains, dislocations, spinal immobilization, and various degrees of burns.
- Environmental Emergencies: Care guidelines for heat stroke, hypothermia, poisoning, snake bites, and electric shocks.
Delivery & Assessment Methodology
- Interactive Scenarios: Group peer-to-peer activities and realistic simulated crisis drills.
- Hands-on Practice: Building muscle memory using medical mannequins, training AEDs, and EpiPen trainers.
- Practical Validation: Continuous observation by an expert instructor during hands-on demonstrations rather than a high-stress written test.
- Official Certification: Successful participants receive a recognized digital or physical wallet certificate, which is typically valid for 2 to 3 years before requiring a recertification course.
